At GR-1, they have implemented Documendo’s solution for creating proposals for their GDPR scanner.

Morten Stamhus is the Sales Director at GR-1, with over 20 years of experience in sales and new business development.

“Our GDPR scanner consists of various modules that can be selected, and these choices are reflected in different sections and prices within the proposal. We can now make these selections in Documendo’s solution, and subsequently, the proposal is automatically generated with all relevant sections and calculated prices,” says Morten Stamhus. He elaborates: “For example, if I choose to include email scanning in the proposal, it automatically updates the table of contents, the description, the acceptance criteria, and the total price. This minimizes the risk of errors and saves time.”

High quality is essential

According to Morten Stamhus, it is absolutely essential that the quality is excellent when sending a proposal to a potential customer.

“A collaboration must start on the best possible foundation, and here, an error-free proposal plays a central role. It is embarrassing to have to send a revised version of a proposal if there are incorrect sections or the prices are not calculated correctly.”

IT IS EASY TO COLLABORATE WITH A SALES PARTNER

You can collaborate on creating a proposal and request a review and approval before it is sent out. If there is a need to manually adjust the proposal, it can be done in Word.

“Many of our proposals are prepared by a sales partner who does a tremendous job, but they also have other products on their shelves. Therefore, it’s almost impossible for their entire sales team to have a complete overview of all their proposal templates. This often leads to spending a considerable amount of time on adjustments during the review process before sending it to the customer. Automation ensures that the quality is so excellent that I no longer need to review the entire proposal before our sales partner sends it out. Together with our sales partner, we save over 2½ hours for each proposal we create, as everything from price calculations to insertion of sections happens automatically. It is a great help, and I am very impressed,” concludes Morten Stamhus.
